The Seattle Interactive Conference took place November 3 and 4 at the Washington State Convention Center. "SIC" is now firmly established as a trend-setter and meeting place of minds in Seattle's booming technical and creative economy and beyond.

While SIC is heavily-geared toward to designers and marketers, I found plenty of tactical solutions for developers:

CanIUseIt.com Compatibility matrix for CSS/HTML
Coolors.co Complementary color pallete generator
D3.js JavaScript library for creating data-driven documents
FlowType.js Web typography based on elements rather than lines
Palettefx.com Create color schemes from photographs

Optimalworkshop.com

  • OptimalSort
  • ChalkMark
User Experience testing tools for content
TufteGraph Make pretty graphs using JQuery
Webaim.org Element and color contrast checker
w3.org Alt-text decision tree for images
