When it comes to developing web apps, it is the programmer's chief responsibility to ensure that the app is protected from every type of attack that threatens its security. It is imperative that developers must make every effort to make sure that the app doesn't suffer from security-related flaws and is not vulnerable to attacks. While security remains the developer's responsibility primarily, it is also equally important to choose a resource that will contribute to that goal.

  1. Parameterized queries: Among the most common type of attack, an SQL injection attack involves a malicious entity attempting to change the data flowing through consultations. The ideal way to prevent such attacks is to add neither nor link SQL strings with external data. Instead, developers should make use of prepared statements and parameterized queries. You can use these two options with vendor-specific libraries. The other option is to use PDO.
