When it comes to everything other than making complex queries, SQL is a mess. That's the opinion of Emil Sjölander, and his solution was to create Sprinkles, a "boiler-plate-reduction-library" meant to help deal with databases in Android applications. Sjölander's GitHub includes everything you need to get started: Download instructions, an intro tutorial, and API details that include saving, deleting, querying, cursorlist, transactions, callbacks, migrations, and relationships.

Check out Sprinkles on GitHub for a new solution to clean up your boilerplate code and make SQL  easier to deal with in your Android apps.
