Remote site editing is pretty cool. WebMatrix 2 makes remote editing pretty easy, even if you do maintain a single machine for major development.

Robert Lucero shows just how easy in his recent post on WebMatrix 2 Beta:

Remote site editing is integrated in to WebMatrix 2.  This allows for users to quickly edit content from both the original computer where they published from or a completely different computer.

The interface for remote editing is pretty much the same as the interface for local editing, and can be accessed by a single click:

..although autocomplete (Microsoft's IntelliSense) works only for static page types.

Robert's full post walks you through remote editing from start to finish, including syncinc remote to local. If you use WebMatrix, this could save you quite a bit of trouble some day.
