New in NetBeans IDE 6.9: Terminal & Remote Terminal Emulators!

What every Java engineer should know about microservices: Reactive Microservices Architecture.  Brought to you in partnership with Lightbend.

A new feature just added to the IDE is the possibility of using the terminal directly inside the IDE. The terminal has all the features everyone uses on the Ubuntu terminal, so it is pretty awesome for me.

To access this feature, go to 'Window > Output > Terminal'.
