There’s a really cool event coming up in Sydney, Australia on February 8th and 9th. It’s called Test the Web Forward. It’s a hackathon of sorts for creating JavaScript tests to determine if a browser is supporting HTML/CSS/JS specs correctly.
All you need is the ability to code HTML, CSS, JS and SVG. SVG if you aren’t familiar with the details, is just a type of XML, so don’t let that hold you back. There will be SVG experts there to help as well.
It’s an awesome chance to:
- Meet a few of the people that are intimately involved with HTML
- Check out Google’s offices in Darling Harbor
- Find out more about how a browser works from the makers
I highly recommend the event, if you’re in the area. To find out more check out Test the Web Forward.
