Damon Edwards
Damon Edwards is a Co-Founder of SimplifyOps, the makers of the popular job scheduling and run book automation tool, Rundeck. Damon Edwards was previously Managing Partner of DTO Solutions, a DevOps and IT Operations improvement consultancy. Damon has spent over 15 years working with both the technology and business ends of IT operations and is noted for being a leader in supporting cutting-edge DevOps techniques for large enterprise organizations. Damon is also a frequent conference speaker and writer who focuses on DevOps and operations improvement topics. Damon is active in the international DevOps community as a co-host of the DevOps Cafe podcast and an early core organizer of the DevOps Days conference series.
Jez Humble
Jez Humble is a co-author of the the Jolt Award-winning Continuous Delivery, published in Martin Fowler’s Signature Series (Addison Wesley, 2010), and Lean Enterprise in Eric Ries’ Lean series (O’Reilly, 2015). He has spent his career tinkering with code, infrastructure, and product development in companies of varying sizes across three continents. He is currently researching how to build high-performing teams and helping to create a cloud platform for government. He works at 18F, teaches at UC Berkeley, and is a Co-Founder of DevOps Research and Assessment LLC.
J. Paul Reed
J. Paul Reed has over fifteen years experience in the trenches as a build-and-release engineer, working with such storied companies as VMware, Mozilla, Postbox, Symantec, and Salesforce. In 2012, he founded Release Engineering Approaches, a consultancy incorporating a host of tools and techniques to help organizations “Simply Ship. Every time.” He’s worked across a number of industries, from financial services to cloud-based infrastructure to health care, with teams ranging from two to 2,500 on everything from tooling, operational analysis and improvement, cultural transformation, and business value optimization. He speaks internationally on release engineering, DevOps, operational complexity, and human factors and is currently a Masters of Science candidate in Human Factors and Systems Safety at Lund University.
Nicole Forsgren
Dr. Nicole Forsgren is an IT impacts expert who shows leaders and tech professionals how to unlock the potential of technology change in their organizations. Best known for her work with tech professionals and as the lead investigator on the Puppet Labs State of DevOps study, she is a consultant, expert, and researcher. She is the CEO and Chief Scientist at DORA and an Academic Partner at Clemson University. In a previous life, she was a professor, sysadmin, and hardware performance analyst.
