In our final video of the ‘5 Minutes with….’ series with Eric Thorsen, VP of industry solutions, following his recent trip to our London office, he explores the different trends emerging by industry organizations in each embark on the shift to being a data-driven business.

Within Hortonworks, we have a focus on seven industries led by expert general managers in Eric’s team who are committed to having business-outcome conversations, over and above hint of the technological requirements.  The explosion of data presents both a challenge and an opportunity for each industry, many unique to the sector, so having that specific focus is crucial as the journey unfolds.
