Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) have risen to prominence as some of the hottest trends in game development. The upcoming Vision AR/VR Summit, hosted by Unity, takes place in LA on Feb. 10-11, 2016. Partners include major players in the AR and VR space, including Steam, Sony, Oculus, and Vuforia.
5D Global Studio creative director and founder Alex McDowell has just been announced as the keynote speaker. Among his many accolades, McDowell has worked with renowned directors, such as David Fincher, Tim Burton, and Steven Spielberg.
The inaugural summit is catered to an array of disciplines and backgrounds. From developers and programmers, to designers and artists, panels and breakout sessions offer a range of fascinating material. A few of the panels include:

An Advisory Board panel unites a group of experts with a wealth of knowledge and experience in virtual reality and augmented reality. Mike Capps (former Epic Games president), Valve’s Joe Ludwig, David Luebke of Nvidia, Microsoft’s Relja Markovic, Sony’s Richard Marks, Sylvio Drouin from Unity, and the University of Southern California’s Jacki Morie comprise the panel.
