Whilst Dell have not really become a major social business vendor in their own right, they have nevertheless adopted social business tools and philosophies successfully.  Their Dell Idea Storm was one of the pioneers in tapping into customer insights, whilst they have proved the benchmark for selling products via Twitter.

So it's interesting to see a new eBook from them on how they see social media developing in 2013.  A couple of interesting points include their belief that major networks such as Facebook and Twitter are not going to grow much this year.  With Twitter widely expected to float this year, that's a bold prediction indeed. 

The company are also clear that if you want to be successful in 2013, you have to be a social business.
