Just a matter of hours ago, Yahoo published its MySQL Performance Analyzer on GitHub as an open-source project.
This performance analyzer is built with Maven and requires JDK 8 and Maven 3.0.
The open source project includes two sub-projects: the Java web application project myperf and a Jetty Server wrapper.
There are currently no visualizations or example output available for the project, but you can still check it out on GitHub to get a grip on it.
It will be interesting to observe how this open-source tool compares to some existing MySQL performance tools that already exist.
If you have some experience with MySQL performance tuning, please offer your analysis in the comments.
