How to Create Microservices Using Spring

Feb 09, 2021 · Ruchi Saini

Hi Marc, Actually I made many changes in the code to demonstrate something else which corrupted the code. In the mean time some other pressing career issue came up and i had to leave it there to work on something else. So the code cannot be shared as of now. Sorry, I am unable to provide the code for your need as I am busy in other areas.

How to Create Microservices Using Spring

Jan 11, 2021 · Ruchi Saini

I agree that BookMyHotel app is much smaller but a small application is only picked to explain how to break a monolithic application into microservices
I also agree that we need to take a look at our infrastructure and devops team on whether we are ready for transition
But
The goal of my article was to JUST explain how to create microservices using spring netflix - a tutorial to learn how to create. The purpose was not to tell when should we create microservice and what are the pitfalls and whether it is necessary or not. Having said that, i take your point into consideration that when we submit any article, including pitfalls are also important.
