One important thing to note. The client_id & client_secret belong to the Environment in which your API resides. In our case, these credentials belong to the Development environment.

In fact, I did not write the article explaining how to achieve the API-led approach. It's more practical than theory. So, to achieve this I organized a Mule Meetup in my city and there I demonstrated the architecture. Here are the slides of the Meetup. From page 20 onwards, there is an example of the API-led approach. It might be helpful to you.

I totally respect your concern. Unfortunately, the category of the article was set to DevOps by the moderator. I did set it to Maven only.

Anyways, it's just an experiment and highly un-recommendable approach to host artifacts.
