I could resolve the issue by removing selector that I added for TIMESTAMP, so now same deployment gets updated. Also was able to trigger automated pipeline using webhook, but only for 'pipeline' and not for 'multibranch pipeline'. Thank you for your help.

I noticed new issue, for every new rollout a new dc resource is getting added in addtiion to old ones being retained. Need to find some solution with your help :)

Thanks for the reply, I can try with webhook for auto trigger.

One more, if you update index.html and check-in and manually trigger pipeline in Jenkins I see that it does not deploy changes to index.html file. Logs says dc, service, ingress is unchanged. May be version of these files need to upgraded, appreciate if you can help with this as well. Thanks for such wonderful blog and whole process.

While trying out this example, realised that Jenkins server need to have kubectl installed and also Jenkins needs to be added to group docker to get rid of permission issue. Can this be extended to trigger build based on updates to Git source?
