RAML or OpenAPI - How About Both?

Dec 13, 2017 · John Vester

As I worked with both. I found that the real difference is the tool not the Specs, Anypoint Design centre is a great tool. Swager Editor still far away from Mule Design Studio. I hope MuleSoft will focus on OpenAPI to join forces.

C# is now a better language than Java

Jul 31, 2009 · Tony Thomas

i was working with C# for 4 years ago, and when i switch to java, i found java very limited comparing with C#. realy microsoft did a great job, cause people from microsoft merged java capablities with C++ ones. but the the question is, why we use many languages? why wont use on syntax on many runtime env( kind of one specification) all of us, now, know what the language must have to be taken.?

by the way, i found irrlitch so easy to understand. Ogre3D also well documented but not tested yet. i will do it tomorrow. Even if i develop in Java, i still loving C++

Interviewing Java developers with tears in my eyes

Jul 19, 2009 · Umberto Zappia

And that exactly what i ask my student to do in java lessons, never use in my course productive tools, a simple texte editor is enough, and when i ask them from where can we get any class , they can answer :) moreover, il learned in parallel with them, when some one ask me a very simple question, that even we spent a hole of your life on developping may be we can't answer :) so i join you, it's better to work with text editors, so you're mind still productif. and you can be sure that in java we write "null" not "Null".
Interviewing Java developers with tears in my eyes

Jul 18, 2009 · Umberto Zappia

You haven't to blame these developers, don't forgot that many of them haven't the time to look on Spring in Action & Hibernate in Action, or any other support. Don't forget that many of them do copy & past, without understanding why, and when they are confronting to any problem they refer to google and irc channel. Don't forget that many architects don't have the time to explain how they make up an architecture, and the poor developer must adapt to it as quickly as he can. Don't forget that we can know something without needing to be able to explain it. in the interviews, I look for people that must know OO programming with any language, UML Conception, SQL, and >30% of java, but he must show me that he is able to learn and look inside technology. Some times i feel that developer is just a "developer.exe" but what we can do! people aren't the same
Sun-set of Innovation Took 10 minutes. End of Sun Microsystems

Jul 18, 2009 · taranfx fx

With sun, we feel that the open source is given for us because it must be, it was a core of innovation & R&D a lot of developers were around it (Sun) and still, but really what will happen to all those young developers which meet the java as the first language they knew, what will happen to our javanet. glassfish and to JSF. Oracle CAO is enough smart to let down sun community because it can turn quickly to a new technology or Microsoft Techno (Who know?)
