Use Angular to Build Your First PWA

Oct 27, 2019 · Krishna Dalal

Hi Felix

This tutorial is a repost of an article originally published on https://developer.okta.com/blog. At the time of writing, Angular 7 was the newest version of Angular. The exact version numbers of the packages are specified in the tutorial, so that future readers know what versions I am referring to. I have tested everything with those versions. I would expect most of the tutorial to work without problems with Angular 8 or even 9. But due to the continued development of Angular, especially in relation to PWAs, things might have changed slightly.

If you are confident enough to find and iron out those differences, please feel free to use Angular 8 or 9 together with the latest versions of all other packages. But if you want to make sure that the tutorial works as-is, without any modifications, I suggest you use the exact versions given in the tutorial.
