Presently a Data Science and Machine Learning practitioner, Maksym has a multidisciplinary background in Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, and Chemistry, he is always keen on gaining new insights and skills in Technology and Science sectors. His activities during the PhD were mostly focused on research of sustainable material recovery from various waste types (electronics, flexible packaging, solar cells, textile) employing novel chemical and mechanical treatments as well as applying machine learning techniques for modelling of the various treatment process parameters. His work also involved production of nano-materials, extensive investigation of the recovered materials by analytical techniques (FTIR, SEM, XRD, etc.), and analysis of both economic and environmental aspects of the developed techniques. Obtained Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering dealing with design of equipment for Renewable Energy applications (plant biomass utilization). Was employed as a mechanical engineer and worked on design of wood-processing equipment.
