You might be asking yourself, 'why do I need a MongoDB-like experience for DynamoDB when there are already full-MongoDB cloud services like MMS, MongoLab, MongoHQ and MongoDirector?

One developer believes there is a need and has set up an experimental project called DyngoDB.  It provides the MongoDB-style interface in front of Amazon's DynamoDB and their CloudSearch service.  Apparently, in the developer's case, he only wants the MongoDB interface but prefers the DynamoDB storage engine.  We'll have to see if other developers also have this specific set of preferences.
