In this webinar David Norton, of Gartner Research, discusses findings on Technical Debt that estimates industry IT debt is at $500 billion—and on target to reach $1 trillion by 2015.

Now that were in 2015, it's interesting to see him talk about the importance of software analysis and measurement in managing Technical Debt. He also touches on how to measure debt continuously in order to control total cost of ownership of the application life-cycle and include debt measurement in project management and prioritization.
