The growth of Azure has been outstanding--more than 90,000 new subscriptions every month. And the innovation is exponential with over 500 new features and services being added to the platform in the last 12 months. We're very excited to be part of this growth. As we announced yesterday, you can now access Stackato through Azure. We think it's a great way for Azure customers to get access to a Cloud Foundry and Docker based PaaS.

With Azure, Microsoft provides an easy path to the cloud for their customers. All applications can be run on one cloud. Microsoft wants to dominate the cloud the same as it has with on-premise software and rarely does a day go by without reading an article about Azure. Whether it's their recent announcement to help encourage start-up's use of Azure by providing $120,000 worth of credits per year or their commitment to open source. Azure gives its customers a growing collection of integrated services that make it easier to build and manage enterprise, mobile, web and Internet of Things (IoT) apps faster.

Enterprises face real complexities when building their cloud solution. Having a solid infrastructure is really just the first step in the process--companies also need the right platform to support the deployment and management of their cloud-native applications. The platform should give their developers the freedom to use the language best suited to build the application. In addition, enterprises are on more than one cloud. They need to have the versatility to scale out or move their applications to whatever cloud is appropriate in order to meet end user demand without any downtime.

With Stackato, we help remove these complexities. We provide enterprises with a polyglot PaaS that supports the development of applications in virtually any language. We like to refer to Stackato as being "infrastructure-agnostic" and allow companies to deploy their applications to any cloud--private, public or hybrid--without the need to run new scripts or re-package the application in order for it to work in the new environment.

The combination of Stackato on Azure gives enterprises the technology they need to streamline application delivery, drive innovation and meet the demands of their customers.
